Privacy Policy

When you use our services, you’re trusting us with your information. We understand this is a big responsibility and work hard to protect your information and put you in control. CODIT Corp. ("CODIT" or “Company”) closely monitors Korean legislation, including the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection among others (“Information and Communications Network Act”) and Personal Information Protection Act, in all stages of DIT services, from service planning to termination. Furthermore, services are provided in compliance with international standards, including the OECD Privacy Guidelines. This Privacy Policy is meant to help you understand what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can update, manage, export, and delete your information. Effective July 1, 2020

Information collected by CODIT

We collect information to provide better services to all our users. When you sign in to CODIT Account, we store the following information you provide to us.

  1. your first and last name

  2. your email address

  3. your affiliation

  4. your role in your affiliation

  5. telephone number (optional field).

The following information is collected from users during service use

Additional personal information may be collected from users while using CODIT's service. If users are searching, clicking and reading information on the CODIT platform, we collect information on the search keywords, number of clicks, reading time and other use log. Information such as highlighted texts, scraped or bookmarked information, shared links can be collected with or without personal user information attached to them. When other functions are later added or developed, more information may be collected and CODIT will make sure to post the changes on the privacy policy page.

The IP address, cookies, service usage records and device information may be generated and collected during service use.

Specifically, 1) during the process of using the service information on the user is automatically created and stored (collected), or 2) the user’s device information (only broadly whether or not accessed with using mobile or websites) is also collected.

The following methods are used to collect information
